Newcomer Alex Williams has released his second song titled “Little Too Stoned” off forthcoming debut album Better Than Myself which is due out on August 11th, via Big Machine.  The song was written by Williams and Greg Becker and is filled with heavy twang rooted in classic country.  His no bullshit approach to songwriting is a welcome sound for those looking for new country artists that are more traditional sounding as opposed to pop-country.

Williams explains the inspiration behind the song, saying in a release, “I wrote it about a billiards hall in Nashville (Melrose Billiards) that I used to go to but was closed after being there since the late 60’s.  A lot of history is being lost in this millennial generation through all these developments every day. I just wanted to write a song about trying to ignore those things as much as possible.”
