Anderson East Releases Roaring “All On My Mind” Single and Video

For his long-awaited follow up to 2015’s Delilah, Anderson East teamed up with Ed Sheeran (yes, that Ed Sheeran), Johnny McDaid, and longtime cowriter Aaron Raitiere to create his roaring new single “All On My Mind.” Produced by Dave Cobb and Gregg Nadel, the track celebrates East’s powerhouse vocals while adding drama with a thunderous string section and commanding guitars. The lyrics detail a series of contradictions about a romantic partner (i.e. ” She can wear a nightgown to a wedding / A t-shirt to bed / A short skirt in the olden times…“), but the chorus celebrates the inescapability of couple’s attraction to each other: It’s all on my mind / Feel something when I kiss you good night / It’s all on my mind / Feel something when I open my eyes. The accompanying video embraces the song’s dramatic qualities, with intense footage of a boxer fighting in the ring interspersed with shots of his girlfriend at home. Watch the video below, and stay tuned for more new music from East, who is currently heading out for a handful of tour dates with Chris Stapleton.
