You’re Invited! The Shotgun Seat Charity Songwriter Round July 6th

A New Design

The Shotgun Seat team is excited to announce we will be hosting a charity songwriter event July 6th at 3rd and Lindsley. Partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, we hope to raise funds and collect non-perishable items for an amazing organization.

The event which takes place from 6:30-8:00 PM will feature music from:

Kree Harrison: On the precipice of her debut album release, Harrison has released two singles to iTunes and Spotify, “This Old Thing” and her latest “Dead Man’s House,” highlighting her ability to weave country music with her signature groovy R&B sound. As an American Idol alum Harrison has taken her time to perfect her craft, signing publishing and recording contracts Plaid Flag Music.

Benjy Davis: Most recently collaborating with Kree Harrison on her new album and single “Dead Man’s House” and with Chris Young on “I Know A Guy,” off his album I’m Comin Over, and is also signed to Plaid Flag Music.  Davis began his career in the late 90s as a folk-rock musician continues to perform as a solo artist across the country.

Thomas Finchum: Thomas Finchum’s heart-wrenching voice and thoughtful lyrics are unafraid to tackle life’s darkest corners. Though only in his mid-twenties, the “This Town” singer is out of the starting gate strong on what is in fact his second career; Finchum is an Olympian and retired professional diver.

CJ Solar: His debut EP “Hard One to Turn Down” is inspired by Solar’s rock-n-roll soul paired with his country roots. His work can also be heard sung by artists like Jerrod Niemann, including recent single “Blue Bandana.”

Lockhart: Made up of Johnny Bulford and Janell Wheeler, duo Lockhart combines soulful lyrics with incredible harmonies. Since the inception of the group late last year, they released their debut EP “Reckless” earlier this year, which features love songs, break up songs and songs to dance to while getting ready to go out on a Saturday night.

Tickets are $10 and are on sale exclusively here at the 3rd and Lindsley site.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to Second Harvest.  We will also have a donation box and we ask that guests bring non-perishable foods to donate. Some of the most needed items are peanut butter, canned tuna or chicken, soup, stews, canned vegetables, canned fruit, cereal and pasta.
