Southern rockers Blackberry Smoke released their latest song, “Let It Burn,” today, a rollicking jam of electrics and keys with a seriously danceable groove. The song continues to preview their upcoming album Like An Arrow (pre-order through their website and iTunes). The release continues to find the Georgia natives solidly shouldering rock and country sensibilities, with a southern grounding.
“This album is the self-produced culmination of 15 years of trying to plant our flag in the musical landscape,” lead vocalist Charlie Starr says. “We couldn’t be more proud of it.”
Recorded in Kennesaw, GA at The Quarry Recording Studio, the twelve-track Like An Arrow, out October 14, was produced by the band. Greg Allman joins them for the last track, “Free On The Wing.”
