Hot on the heels of Brett Young’s debut and number one single “Sleep Without You” comes a second radio single from his self-titled EP, produced by the legendary Dan Huff. “In Case You Didn’t Know” is slightly less exuberant, but nevertheless emotion-packed. The love song is pure heartfelt passion, and was co-written by Young himself, along with Tyler Reeve, Kyle Schlienger, Trent Tomlinson, and Blake Tomlinson.

As Young stated in a our recent interview about his songwriting process, “The story and the honesty behind it is always important to me regardless.” This authentic approach to songwriting is obvious in his latest single, and felt in the passionate delivery of lyrics like, “The way you look tonight, that second glass of wine, that did it,” and “In case you didn’t know, baby I’m crazy ’bout you, and I would be lying if I said that I could live this life without you.

The tune is as relatable for new lovers as it is to those who’ve been together for numerous years. Whether it brings back feelings from a distant time, or you have recently landed the love of your life, “In Case You Didn’t Know” is sure to find its way into the hearts of many.
