Carrie Underwood released the video for her new single “Little Toy Guns” today, perfectly accompanying the track. The visual hits on the yearning in the song, featuring a young girl “caught in the crossfire” of her parents’ arguments and wishing that words were like little toy guns, “no pain, no bullets, no kick from the trigger when you pull it,” praying for calmer times. Underwood, unsurprisingly, looks strong and stunning, and the song holds its own, proving that though it’s included on her Greatest Hits release, her best days are far from behind her.
