Chris Stapleton Hints at New Album, Performs “Either Way” at CRS

Chris Stapleton took the stage today at Universal Music Group’s luncheon during Country Radio Seminar in Nashville to play “I Won’t Love You Either Way.” Stapleton hinted that he’s been thinking about his next record before introducing the song as one his wife has “always liked.” Lee Ann Womack cut the track – which features Stapleton as a backing vocalist – on her Call Me Crazy record in 2008. Unsurprisingly, Stapleton’s vocals in the performance are flawless and soul-stirring, and we’re ecstatic that he’s already considering future projects.

Stapleton wrote “Either Way” with Timothy Alan James and Kendell Wayne Marvel. CRS is a yearly radio seminar held in Nashville, where established and up-and-coming artists typically showcase current singles for radio programmers and the country music community.
