Alex Hall tackles that all-too familiar feeling of missing home on his brand new single, “Homesick.” The song is the perfect travel song, a bluesy and smooth offering that yields to a montage of road tripped miles and busy airport gates. Even when there’s a great reason to be gone, there’s always that pull of home, which Hall captures beautifully in the three and a half minute missive.
“I remember leaving the house the morning we wrote Homesick, I couldn’t get the idea out of my head,” Hall shares. “I wanted to write a feel good love song about missing my girlfriend while being on the road and that’s what we came up with.”
