Hear Dierks Bentley’s New Prayer-Like Anthem, “Woman, Amen”

Dierks Bentley’s “Woman, Amen,” co-written with Josh Kear and Ross Copperman, is an uplifting track that pays homage to the love that rescued him from being lost in a world that is often unkind. Bentley sings, “I know I was saved the night that she gave this drifter’s heart a home.” The romantic anthem gives us the first taste from his newly-announced album The Mountain, out early this year, and if this single is any indication of what the full album will be like, it will be a down-to-earth, heartfelt release, filled with authentic vocals and compelling lyrics.

“Woman, Amen,” is not only a powerful lead single, but it is an ode to one’s devotion to their significant other and expresses the power of love. In a prayer-like fashion, Bentley sings, “Every night I should be on my knees / Lord knows how lucky I am / I’ll never say it near enough / Thank God for this woman, amen.”
