A Thousand Horses is a southern rock band under the BMLG/Republic Nashville label. Producer Dave Cobb describes A Thousand Horses as  “a true band of brothers,” consisting of Michael Hobby (Lead Vocal), Bill Satcher (Lead Guitar),  Zach Brown (Guitar/Vocals) and Graham DeLoach  (Bass/Vocals). The band’s debut album, Southernality, is a 13-track project that has already produced a No. 1 single, “Smoke.”

One of the stand out tracks on the album, “Back To Me,” was written by band members Hobby, Satcher, DeLoach along with fellow Nashville heavy hitting songwriter Westin Davis. The band says the tune is about “a small town romance… a plea from the guy to the girl to say if you come back to me I think this is where we need to be.” Although a fairly simple story, the lyrics are genuine and honest. The passionate, heartfelt lyrics are set to an acoustic guitar and soft piano keys.

“Scars, I know I’ve left some scars / But we’ve come to far to stop ’cause a couple of scars /

One way town with no way out / It’s holding you in and it’s holding you down /

But I’ll be the one who will set your heart free / If you come back to me / Ohh, if you come back to me”

Fans can catch the band on the road with Jason Aldean’s We Were Here Tour this year. Southernality is available at iTunes now.
