J. Michael Harter released recently his song “Playing With Fire,” a catchy new sound from the artist.

“Your number was worth my two black eyes,” Harter sings. The song grooves along the lines of songs like Dierks Bentley’s “What Was I Thinking,” a sonic nod to the thrills of risk-taking in the name of a woman, with vocals reminiscent of the Riser as well. Harter wrote the song with Trey Stevens, and it’s currently getting play on Sirius XM The Highway’s “On The Horizon” show.
