Lewis Brice Makes His Debut With Rocking, High-Energy EP

The South Carolina native began his music career at a young age, singing in church bands and choirs and developing his talents while playing alongside brother Lee Brice, Randy Houser, Jerrod Niemann, The Cadillac Three, Chase Rice and many more. Released on Pump House Music through a venture with Straight 8 Entertainment and Kobalt Music Recordings, the Brice’s 6-song debut EP is a mix of country, R&B and southern rock.

The EP opens with single, “Best Ex Ever,” which has garnered over 400,000 streams on Spotify alone. The track is a bluesy country take on breakups and ex’s, complemented with harmonic tunes throughout the chorus. Brice proves he is just as much country as he is rocker in tracks “Rob You Blind” & “Alabama.”

“Messin’ With My Mind,” another single off the EP (which is quickly approaching 300,000 streams on Spotify in just a few short weeks), shows off Brice’s vocal range and cool, gritty tone that makes him stand out among others. Brice sings about the influence of a woman in “Outta My Head.” He sings in the chorus, “I’m goin’ crazy over this lady / racking my brain, so close to insane / like a landmine blowing my mind / Girl, your red dress got me outta my head.

“Still With You” is a playful country tune that is kicked up a notch again by Brice’s grittiness. The EP’s six original songs are all co-written and co-produced by Lewis alongside Brian Bunn, Dan Frizell, and Ben Simonetti with executive producer & brother, Lee Brice.
