Margo Price Channels Loretta Lynn in “Hurtin’ (On The Bottle)” Video

The winding, serpentine, and ever-widening road that serves as the country genre’s sonic boundary has found a familiar sound in Margo Price. The Nashville-based artist channels the worn grooves of your favorite LPs without losing 2016 appeal. “Been drinking whiskey like it’s water / but that don’t touch the pain you put on me,” Price sings on “Hurtin’ (On The Bottle,” a co-write with Caitlin Rose. Price, who is the first Nashville-based artist signed to Jack White’s Third Man Records, releases her debut LP, The Farmer’s Daughter, on March 25.
