Miranda Lambert’s “Little Red Wagon” Impacts Radio

10888770_10152985239695742_3252929237440287383_nWe’ve been waiting for what honestly seems like FOREVER to hear the next single from Miranda Lambert’s Platinum on the radio. “Little Red Wagon” impacts today as follow-up to the massive “Somethin’ Bad” (with Carrie Underwood) which topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and became a Hot 100 top 20 hit. Can she do it again? We’re predicting yes.

The track is a killer production that screams rock-n-roll. Not only does it showcase Miranda’s versatile vocal capability but also her boldly infectious personality. “You can’t ride in my little red wagon!” she wails on the chorus as the band simmers down before roaring back into a rambunctious instrumental interlude. The lyrics are fiercely unapologetic, one of the many reasons we love her as an artist. The bridge is particularly enticing as she sasses out the spoken lyric “I play guitar, and I go on the road, and I do all the shit you wanna do.” In case you were ever doubting Miranda’s badassness, just don’t.

Fun fact: “Little Red Wagon” is a cover originally written and performed by Audra Mae, who happens to be the great-great-niece of Judy Garland.

Who’s ready to see her KILL IT on stage at the Certified Platinum Tour??? *raises hand*
