From the city known for its steel and industry, a country force has been wrought: Justin Fabus. Growing up steeped in his grandparents’ love of Patsy Cline, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis, the Pittsburgh native has evolved into a sound that’s soulful and evocative.
On his debut album, Remedy, the artist welds his own unique rendering of a country sound. From the album, due out June 22, we’re excited to premiere “Make You Mine,” a romantic melodic missive.
“To me, country is all about songwriting,” Fabus shares in a release. “It’s hard-working. It’s blue-collar. That’s Pittsburgh in a nutshell. I write what I live. When I sing my songs, I feel them, and I mean them.”
