The Randy Rogers Band took the stage at Nashville’s Losers Bar last night to thunderous applause – a reaction well-warranted for the evening’s set. Rogers and his crew, who spent the evening celebrating the Texan’s birthday, put on a performance classic to Rogers: engaging, exciting, and quality. The Lone Star State artist was joined by Wade Bowen for their song “Standards,” remarking on the condo construction occurring behind the pop-up stage before bringing Bowen to the stage. “I don’t have hits, I’ve got standards,” they sang, to a crowd for whom every song was a beer-raiser worth singing along to. The show was opened by William Michael Morgan, who samples from his upcoming debut LP, Vinyl, and the Losers Bar house band, and the evening featured DJ sets between acts and post-show from Dee Jay Silver.
