Song of the Day: “Summertime” by Kenny Chesney
Maybe it’s wishful thinking, maybe it’s baseball’s opening day (“that old ballpark, man, is back in gear”), or maybe we’re still on a high from Chesney’s incredible show at Bridgestone Arena, but we’ve got summertime on the mind, and Chesney’s classic is the perfect soundtrack.
Written by Craig Wiseman and Steve McEwan, “Summertime” was released in 2006 as a single from Chesney’s Platinum certified album The Road and the Radio.
