The Cadillac Three Release Video for “White Lightning”

The Cadillac Three debuted the video for their latest single, “White Lightning,” this week, a southern-rock-infused ode to falling in love. Lead singer Jaren Johnston, whose writing credits include Keith Urban and Eric Church’s “Raise ‘Em Up,” “Southern Girl” by Tim McGraw, and “Beachin'” by Jake Owen, wrote the song about his wife Evyn, whom he married in 2013 and who appears in the video.

“I’m a very lucky fella; not many people get to be with a woman like mine,” Johnston told ETonline. “I fell fast and hard. I remember thinking it was kind of like being struck by lightning. The hair on the back of my neck stood up, and I got the shakes the first time I saw her. When I wrote “White Lightning,” I sat down and put that experience into this song the best way I could.”

“White Lightning” is the third single for the band, following “The South” and “Party Like You.”
