Vince Gill announced today his upcoming album, Down To My Last Bad Habit, will release February 12. Gill also released today the first single from the album, “Take Me Down,” which features Little Big Town and is available to stream on NPR. The song, written by Gill with Richard Marx and Jillian Jacqueline, features a gorgeous accompaniment of Gill’s stellar vocal, with Little Big Town joining in for harmony on the choruses. Aside from writing or co-writing each of the twelve tracks on the album, Gill was also a co-producer and featured musician on each.

“Forty years into this, it’s still as much fun as it’s ever been to play music,” Gill says in a release. “At the end of the day, what I get excited about is doing something I haven’t done before. When I record a song, I feel successful if I’ve accomplished something new.”
