Texas country star Wade Bowen is planning to celebrate his 20th Bowen MusicFest at McLane Stadium’s Touchdown Alley on Sunday, June 3rd.
Over the last two decades, The Bowen MusicFest and Bowen Classic golf tournament together have raised more than 2.5 million dollars to benefit children and families in his hometown of Waco, TX. The Bowen Family Foundation works year-round to ensure that all monies raised go to worthy causes in and around Waco. Past beneficiaries include March of Dimes, City of West Disaster Relief, CASA of McLennan & Hill Counties, Boys and Girls Clubs of Waco, and the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children.
This year’s MusicFest full-band headliners include Ray Wylie Hubbard, Jason Eady, REO Speedwagon, and Midland. In addition to the festival headline performances, fans have the unique opportunity to attend the “Wade Bowen & Friends Jam,” which will close out the event. Jam performers include Joe Nichols, Josh Abbott, Aaron Watson, Randy Rogers, Kevin Fowler, Cody Canada, Suzy Bogguss and more. This performance will provide an up close and personal view of Bowen while his friends jam alongside him.
