Wanna hear a really catchy demo? Check out “God Made The Night”

Publisher Creative Nation recently added this Barry Dean / Trent Dabbs / Ross Copperman co-write, “God Made The Night,” to their SoundCloud page, and we’re quickly on our way towards being responsible for a high percentage of the song’s play count.

Simply put… it’s so catchy.

“God made night so we’d have to get this close, turned out the lights so that we could be alone,” begins the hook, landing with “just enough time to show you why God made the night.” While it’s not the most novel concept ever written, it’s subtly sexy, and has some lyrical shining moments, like the alliterative “God made night for forever’s and your fingertips.”

The production is also strong – this is one of those demos that sounds like a record – making it extra addictive.

There’s no info in the BMI or ASCAP repertoires to suggest whether this song might soon be cut.

Keep ’em coming, guys. We’ve got the loop button on.
