Aubrie Sellers certainly knows how to put her own spin on the music that she decides to record. Sellers and her band tackled Coldplay’s somber “Green Eyes” while crammed into the back of a van adorned with white lights. The intimate video setting, filtered in Sellers’ signature black and white, is contrasted by the poetic, colorful version of the love song. Choosing to add a layer of steel guitar, the garage-country singer made the 2002 release feel modern.
Sellers released her debut album New City Blues in 2016, and joins Old Dominion on Miranda Lambert’s 2017 Highway Vagabond Tour, which kicks off next weekend. See the full list of tour dates below:
