Danaher’s voice is smoky and expressive on “Taught Me To Lie,” which with his adept lyricism shares a heart-wrenching dynamic of a past relationship.
“Taught Me To Lie” is Avett Brothers intimate, Chris Stapleton nuanced, and Will Hoge engaging. Danaher is a must-see live, with the ability to draw tears of laughter between songs and tears of heartache during them. His presentation of “Taught Me To Lie” captures the latter masterfully.
