Wanda’s House of Beauty, a small-town corner salon featuring drinks, dogs, and vintage hair dryers, sets the stage for Miranda Lambert’s newest music video for single “We Should Be Friends.” Complete with disapproving looks from older ladies, the video is the quintessential guide to Lambert’s what-you-see-is-what-you-get characteristic. She fills the salon with friends Natalie Hemby and Waylon Payne, as well as her real-life hair stylist Johnny and makeup artist Moani. “Friends” is the second single off of Weight of These Wings, and serves as light, upbeat and refreshing listen compared to the darker lead single “Vice.”
As if the beer can rollers and a pedicure kick line don’t bring enough fun, Lambert ends the video with a full-out fashion show and dance party. The video will definitely leave a smile on your face, and make you wish you had Wanda’s address for future hair and nail needs.
