Zac Brown Band Return to Roots with “Real Thing”

Zac Brown Band fans asked, they answered. The Georgia native and his incredible band are returning to their roots on upcoming album Welcome Home, and today’s release, “Real Thing,” is evidence of just that.

The song is a perfect example of the band’s bread and butter: stunning harmonies, strong vocals, an easy groove, and lyrics about what really matters in life. “There ain’t nothing like the real thing,” they sing, touching on topics from a great whiskey to a true love.

The song is the second taste of Welcome Home, which is due May 12. “My Old Man,” the first look a the album, similarly returns to the band’s signature sound.
