“There’s no greater honor than being able to be a father to a daughter and to know that love.” -Zac #HappyFathersDay https://t.co/k071wyvORb

Zac Brown shared via Twitter today the meaning behind his song “I’ll Be Your Man (Song For A Daughter),” which was released on his album Jekyll & Hyde this past April. “Since the minute I knew I was gonna have a daughter I’ve been preparing myself to have to let her go. And that’s heavy,” Brown says. “I hope [my daughters] can listen to it and know that I love ’em, even if I’m not around.”
Brown also discusses the recording of the song, and the elements and choices that were involved.
Jekyll & Hyde took the band to new heights sonically, challenging musical boundaries and earning themselves success at new formats of radio. Check out our review here.
