Keith Urban debuted his cover of Foy Vance’s song “Burden” at last weekend’s ACM Awards, where he won Entertainer of the Year. The song’s uplifting message caught Urban’s attention on his recent trip to London, and he decided to record his own take of the track with co-producer Dave Cobb.
“The brevity of the song spoke to me as someone that has needed to hear that in my life and needed to hear that offered to me. I love songs that speak to the human condition of struggle and the idea that it’s okay, I can help you…let me carry your burden,” Urban said in a press release.
