X factor: On the surface, the topic is comical, but there’s something to be said for a storytelling song based on hot chicken that’s this catchy and this… romantic? Props to the writers for bringing together Twenty One Pilots- and Asher Roth-style vocals with a background banjo and country radio-ready production, all while somehow keeping the corny at bay.
