Light and catchy, Doug McCormick’s new song “Pretty Girls & Fishing Poles” is the perfect fun summer soundtrack and an excellent start to the weekend. His vocals are engaging and distinct, and the instrumentation is sunny, for a tightly constructed song that feels great.
A South Carolina native, McCormick has been playing around the south recently, including a non-musical appearance in CMA Fest’s annual celebrity softball game. His first single, “Watch Your Mouth,” received airplay both on XM and FM, and “Pretty Girls & Fishing Poles” will serve as the singer’s latest single.
