Jillian Jacqueline released last week her latest song, “Prime,” and its poppy groove, crisp vocals, and carefree spirit are the perfect companion to the arrival of spring. “While I’m in my prime / gonna do what I want / gonna ride the wave / gonna make mistakes / gonna fall hard in and out of love,” Jacqueline sings on the hook. It’s an anthem to right now, and the soundtrack to a sunny day. Written with Tofer Brown and Jordan Reynolds and produced by Brown, the song leads an upcoming EP from Jacqueline.
