With a solid marriage to model this “how to” love song off of, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have teamed up once again to release the first single from their forthcoming duet album today. “Speak to a Girl” has all the elements of a perfect McGraw/Hill duet, mirroring “It’s Your Love” and “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s,” where their polished harmonies shine. The Shy Carter, Dave Gibson and Joe Spargur co-write conveys a modern-day chivalry. In a recent radio interview regarding the track, McGraw explained: “It’s important that young women hear that message from the men in their lives and from the other women in their lives, it’s important that the young men hear this message so they know how to speak to a girl.”
Fans can look forward to seeing the power-couple premiere performance of “Speak to a Girl” next month on The 52nd ACM Awards on April 2 which will air live on CBS at 8/7c.
