Shot in Nashville over the course of two days and directed by TK McKamy, the nearly 6-minute video has more of an action movie vibe rather than a typical music video. “There are a lot of crazy action scenes – a lot of firsts for me in general in this video,” said Rhett. “I’ve always wanted to get to do a fight sequence and play a tough guy, but I think Maren definitely shows me up! TK really pushed us both since we’d never really acted before.”
The duo transforms into tag-team bank robbers, working for a boss-man that they ultimately turn on in the end. The video is full force badass with no shortage of comedic relief with Rhett’s witty remarks. Rhett’s wife, Lauren, even makes an appearance, with scenes of Rhett’s double life flashing back and forth. The “My Church” Grammy Award winner Morris single-handedly takes down her enemies and is a force to be reckoned with throughout the entire video.
