CJ Solar and Sea Gayle Music Support Louisiana Flood Relief

CJ Solar

Country rocker CJ Solar and publisher Sea Gayle Music have partnered to provide relief for victims of the recent flooding in Louisiana, Solar’s home state. The Baton Rouge native is giving away downloads of his Grohl-meets-Stapleton flavored EP Hard One To Turn Down for whatever purchasers can give, with all proceeds benefitting relief efforts. Grab the EP here.

In addition, Solar and Sea Gayle Music are also involved in the Geaux Music Row! Flood Relief Drive, formed by a group of Louisiana-native songwriters, artists, and music business executives who have teamed to help those affected by flooding in Louisiana. This week (August 22-26), supplies can be donated at several Nashville locations, including Sea Gayle Music – a full list of locations and most-needed supplies can be found here.

“It’s always hard watching people struggle through a national disaster, but the flooding happening in Louisiana hits extra close to home,” Solar says. “Baton Rouge is where I’m from, and where I grew up. I have friends and family affected by the floods, and the mess is going to take a long time to clean up. As a way to try and raise funds and awareness for those in need in Louisiana, I wanted to rally my fans for flood relief donations in exchange for a free download of my EP. All I’m asking is ‘pay what you can.'”
