Eric Church Releases Moody, Small-Town “Round Here Buzz” to Radio

Eric Church plans to release his fourth single off of his most recent full length album Mr. Misunderstood, “Round Here Buzz,” on Monday April 10th. The story, written by Church with Luke Dick and Jeff Hyde, will hit home for listeners who grew up in a small town who have lost someone to the bright lights of a new city or new adventures. Church has a way of being nostalgic and relevant simultaneously, and “Round Here Buzz” is no exception.

“Lit up like that one stoplight / Across from that welcome sign / Ever since you caught that out there bug / I catch me a ’round here buzz.”

Sonically, “Round Here Buzz” is on par with the other singles from Mr. Misunderstood, but the heartbreak on display is new for the singer off this project. Check out the video below to hear the story behind the song, and buy the track on iTunes here.
