From a heartfelt ballad to an upbeat fun song, Eric Paslay has created another hit with this latest single, “High Class.”
Contrary to the bro country trends of today, “High Class” is about having a night out in the city – sure to get you pumped up for your Friday night. Although this song has a “classier” feel than most country songs, there are some indicators that show that Paslay has not strayed from his country roots, such as, “Bud Light in a glass” and “We ain’t on the list.”
Paslay told The Boot about the song, “It’s about seizing the moment, putting your worries aside and enjoying a night out as if you have no cares in the world.”
“High Class” is the first track off of Paslay’s sophomore album, which begs the question: will this album be full of bluesy, upbeat songs like this one?
