Jillian Jacqueline’s latest release, “God Bless This Mess,” is a heartfelt song with a universal message and delicate production. The poignant track was written with Tofer Brown and Lori McKenna, and features prominent piano and an emotional chorus.
Key Lyrics: “I got a hurricane in my heart / Keeps on rattling the good apart / Honestly I’m just an honest wreck, but I’m trying my best.”
“God Bless This Mess” is a really special song to me, and in terms of my perspective as an artist and my record, it played a huge role in me realizing that sometimes the song trumps ego,” says Jacqueline in a release. “It touches on that universal truth of ‘this too shall pass’ that I’ve never found a way to say quite so profoundly as I feel we have in this song.”
