Luke Dick, Natalie Hemby, and Trent Dabbs miss Prince. A lot. The three Nashvillians co-wrote Republican Hair’s latest track, an attention-grabbing ode to the late superstar that layers catchy name-drops of his greatest hits over slick guitar and funky rhythms. “Miss Prince” is the second track to be released from Republican Hair’s forthcoming EP The Prince & The Duke, which is due out September 8.
The accompanying (and very purple) video is mesmerizing, and the song is totally jam-worthy. Check it out below:
