After a painfully long wait, Georgia native Kip Moore has finally announced the album title, track listing, and release date for his sophomore effort. Wild Ones will release August 21st, following on the success of his debut Up All Night, which boasted the double-Platinum “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck,” as well as “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl.” Moore’s latest single, “I’m To Blame,” currently sits at #26 at radio, according to Mediabase.

Wild Ones really encompasses everything I’ve been through out on the road since the first album, it embodies us as a band every night out on stage, it alludes to the traveling circus it sometimes feels like we are a part of,” Moore said in a press release. “I’m so glad that I’m able to finally let the fans know when to expect what we’ve been working on so passionately for the past couple years, to let them know the wait is nearly over.”

Fans can pre-order the album and receive a t-shirt and an autographed copy here.

Via the press release, here’s what to expect from the album:

Driven forward by electric guitars and gang vocals, “Lipstick” is the album’s most heartfelt tribute to the road, with each verse rattling off a list of the favorite cities Moore and his bandmates have played in the past. Other songs, like “That Was Us,” take a look backward, sketching a picture of the archetypal small-town Saturday nights that filled Moore’s teenage years in Georgia. “Magic,” anchored by one of the anthemic, open-armed choruses of Moore’s career, is loud and lovely, and “Comeback Kid” packs its punch the opposite way: by dialing back the volume and delivering quiet praise to the underdog in all of us.

“Yeah, it is a really personal record, and anytime you’re putting yourself out there for ridicule,” he tells Entertainment Weekly. It’s vulnerable. [But] I believe in this record so much. I’ve learned that if you don’t have some people that hate you, then you’re not doing something right—if you’re one of those people where nobody really feels hate or love, then you’re stuck. Nobody is ever gonna care about you there. I’m okay if people hate me because that means there’s gonna be people who love me too.”
