If you’re a fan of A-listers Zac Brown Band, then you’ll love this Americana band, Drive-By Truckers. The production is textured in the fashion of many Zac Brown Band recordings complete with solid melodies and thought-invoking, narrative lyrics. The vocals are imperfect which actually help create a sense of realism while instilling the perfect emotion in each song. Storytelling is definitely a feat the Drive-By Truckers solidly expose throughout their music. Listen to the emotional “Goddamn Lonely Love” and you’ll be damn certain why we’re already hooked.

If you’re signed up for The Band Perry, you NEED to check out Natalie Stovall & The Drive. Both bands are led by blonde bombshells with big curly hair (seriously, their resemblance is uncanny) and if that wasn’t enough to get you excited, Natalie Stovall’s voice is bound to get you boot stomping and wanting to get down and dirty. Much like The Band Perry’s front woman Kimberly Perry, Stovall’s also got that throaty, emotive voice with a rapid fire tongue. Both are really cool storytellers also, which you’ll notice in the lyrics from the first verse of Stovall’s “Mason Jar.”

If you haven’t heard of singer-songwriter Sara Haze, you are seriously missing out. She’s this ridiculously talented vocalist from the O.C., California making waves in Nashville nowadays. Her voice has a tone we think country music should get excited about and her vocal capability is on par with some of the best. Vulnerable and innocent much like the likes of Lauren Alaina’s “Like My Mother Does” the two are quite similar in their vocal stylings and the smoothness of their voices – like butter on a biscuit. If you wanna hear what we’re talking about check out Haze’s deep cut, “Addiction,” and hear the raw emotion and power in her voice.

One of our favorite newcomers, Charlie Worsham, has a lot to say as a singer-songwriter. We see him as an up-n-coming Kenny Chesney and both Worsham and Chesney have a lot to offer to country music. Not to mention, they’re both easy on the eyes. His style is very eclectic dabbling in folk and pop stylings that brighten an already beautiful country sound. Much like Chesney, Worsham has a voice that encompasses the slightest twang while maintaining a smooth and beautiful tone. We love them both, but you’re definitely going to love Charlie Worsham. Check out “Want Me Too” and the rest of your day will be smooth sailing.

The Railers. “It sounds like Fleetwood Mac meets the Dixie Chicks” – the description from The Railers’ YouTube page is specifically spot on. They have a real eccentric folk + country vibe that shimmers above group harmonies and organic instrumentation. We note a distinct sonic resemblance to the style of Little Big Town, really honing in on each member’s unique talent and making it soar above the production. Find out yourself by listening to the breezy harmony-filled “Wide Open” you’re bound to fall in love with.
