Frankie Ballard released today the fourth and final episode in his ‘El Rio’ video series, for the song “Good As Gold.” The song, written by Mando Saenz and Justin Bogart and produced by Marshall Altman, puts the protagonist side-by-side with another man – “he can buy you nice things, but I can give you what you need.” The video finds Ballard ditching his car and running for something – or someone – with a cryptic ending that lets the lyric tell the story and the listener infer the result. El Rio, Ballard’s third studio album, released this past Friday.
