Sam Hunt released today his video for “Break Up In A Small Town,” the bold fourth single from his debut album Montevallo. The video shows Hunt’s home – and composure – going up in flames as he sees his ex-girl with someone new. The song should do well at radio, having already charted when it was released on his X2C EP, and currently boasts 119 historic adds. And though it’s been much-discussed as it’s one of Hunt’s ‘least country’ sounding songs by traditional standards, lines like “she was over me before the grass grew back where she used to park her car” may help Hunt stay anchored in the genre.
