It ain’t easy to keep up with all the great new music coming out of Nashville and beyond. So we’ve taken some of our favorite new tracks and matched them up with hits you know and love to help you find your new anthem.

If you like…

“Day Drinking” by Little Big Town

You’ll love… “Good on You” by Native Run

If you love a good summer anthem like Little Big Town’s “Day Drinking” prepare yourself for Native Run’s breezy mid-tempo jam “Good On You.” Both of their choruses are energized with bright harmonies backed by whistling and yoo-hooing that make these tracks impossible to take off repeat. Native Run applies the vibe to a relationship – but still with a nod to a Solo cup. Both are certified summer anthems.

“Get Me Some of That” by Thomas Rhett

You’ll love… “Kiss You in the Morning” by Michael Ray

If you’re a fan of Thomas Rhett’s hit “Get Me Some of That,” Michael Ray’s “Kiss You in the Morning” is right up your alley. Both tracks are mid-tempo, mid-range delights, focusing on a casual, fun moment with a girl. As August winds to a close and you find yourself stealing those last moments of summer, Ray’s “Kiss You in the Morning” is the perfect soundtrack.

If you like…

“As She’s Walking Away” by Zac Brown Band featuring Alan Jackson

You’ll love… “Could It Be” by Charlie Worsham

Killer harmonies, soulful grooves, and strong melodies – just a couple staples of both of these songs. Charlie Worsham’s “Could It Be” starts off with a vocal harmony central to Zac Brown’s style, and continues along a well-crafted melody with simple, arpeggiated guitar accompaniment and smooth, soulful vocals. Fans of Brown’s use of guitar and harmony will love this track, which, like much of Brown’s work, dabbles in folk while retaining strong country elements and even pop sensibilities.

If you like…

“I Knew You Were Trouble” by Taylor Swift

You’ll love… “Break Up In A Small Town” by Sam Hunt

If you get down to Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” you’ll wanna get down to Sam Hunt’s “Break Up In A Small Town.” Both artists reminisce over impactful relationships from their pasts. Hunt confronts the hardship of seeing his ex out with another guy, which is the reality of breaking up in a small town. We love the half spoken/half sung verses that lead up to the booming chorus. When the beat drops you’ll know what we’re talking about. This track has some serious style and its potential for crossover success is huge – much like the impact of Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble.”

If you like…

Yellin’ From The Rooftop” by Hayden Panettiere

You’ll love… A Little More Work” by Kira Isabella

If you’re a fan of Hayden Panettiere’s “Yellin’ From The Rooftop” (also recorded by Danielle Bradbery) check out Kira Isabella’s “A Little More Work.” The lyrical theme is a bit opposite but the conviction is all the same. The track is a sassy brush off the shoulder to a boy who better prove he is worthy of her affection. Heads up boys, these girls don’t play games. Both feature a guitar driven beat and a chorus that you would yell from the rooftop (literally). It’s definitely a stand out and one of our favorites from Isabella’s debut album.
