David Nail continues to tease his fourth studio album, Fighter, out next week, with the release of the track to iTunes and Spotify today. The song, which Nail wrote with Scooter Carusoe and Troy Verges, is a tribute to his wife and a raw look at relationships. Nail’s vocal is a beacon shining across the musical landscape, with production from Frank Liddell supporting the song beautifully.
“’Fighter’ is about as honest as I’ve ever been in a song,” Nail says in a release. “I mean, when you’re quoting your wife saying things that are not pleasant [about you], you know it was our story. … But it also, I think, tells the story of me.”
