Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter Team Up Again for “Wild Child”

Kenny Chesney’s newest single is “Wild Child,” a duet with Grace Potter of the rock band Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. After the success of 2010’s “You and Tequila,” Chesney and Potter have teamed up for another slow, acoustic song with beautiful harmonies.

Chesney, Shane McAnally, and Josh Osborne co-wrote “Wild Child” for Chesney’s latest album The Big Revival. It’s full of vivid imagery about a love interest, a “Penny Lane in a Chevy van” with “a touch of crazy hides behind her wild smile.” It’s the first single off The Big Revival that’s a pure, simple love song—and with Potter on the track, we imagine country radio will be very receptive.
