Today’s song of the day is Chris Young’s hit “Lonely Eyes,” written by Johnny Bulford, Jason Matthews, and Laura Veltz. “Lonely Eyes” was the third single from Young’s album A.M., following the release of “Aw Naw” and “Who I Am With You,” which peaked at #3 and #2 on airplay respectively. “Lonely Eyes” hasn’t quite hit that #1 slot either, peaking at #2.
